Private conversations are 1-to-1. You can start one only with someone who currently shares an active Space with you. The Space is an eligibility rule, not a group chat.
How to do it
- Open Messages, or that person’s profile.
- Choose Send message.
- Write text or send a photo or voice message. That content is encrypted on your device.
Good to know
- There are no public DMs, group chats, bots or video calls.
- Kireli stores ciphertext, not readable text.
- Search in a conversation happens only on this device.
- Server notifications only say you have a new private message, not what it says.
