Privacy and safety
Who can see photos and locations, and how guest photos stay private.
- Who can see my photos?Photos in a Space are only seen by members of that Space. Guests with a photo link cannot see the Space.
- Who can see my location?An exact location is only visible to people who may see this. Kireli does not track you in the background.
- How guest uploads stay privateGuests send photos through a link. Those photos wait for review and do not go into a public gallery.
- How Kireli handles my dataKireli keeps your photos and posts to provide the service. This is an explanation, not a replacement for the privacy policy.
- How to report contentYou can report a post, photo, comment or other content from the place where you see it. You do not have to go to the safety page first.
- How to report a SpaceIf the problem is broader than one photo or post, you can report the whole Space. Use this for harmful or illegal use, not for an ordinary disagreement.
- What happens after a report?You will see that the report was received. Later the status can change, for example in review or closed. We do not say who reported it.
- Can Kireli see my private photos?Not as a matter of course. Kireli does not routinely or randomly look at private photos. Targeted access can be needed only for a concrete report, a serious safety signal, or a legal duty.
- How Kireli handles serious safety reportsSerious reports, for example about illegal content or danger, go to Kireli. The Space owner cannot hide them. Content may be hidden or kept rather than immediately deleted.
- How to request a review of a safety decisionIf Kireli takes a decision about your content or Space, you can sometimes request a review. That is not a public appeal, just an internal second look.
- Using private conversationsSend an end-to-end encrypted message to someone who shares at least one active Space with you.
- What does end-to-end encryption mean?Content is encrypted on your device and readable again only on the recipient’s device. Kireli cannot normally read private conversations.
- Report a private messageKireli cannot silently decrypt a private conversation. If you report, you deliberately share the selected message or file.
- Block or delete private conversationsBlocking stops new messages, even if you share a Space. Deleting does not guarantee every local copy is gone.
