Give a photo a year or a date

You can say when a photo happened. The field is called 'When was this?'. It is optional. A year is enough if you no longer know the exact day.

How to do it

1. Open the photo in an Album.
2. Go to 'When was this?'.
3. Enter a year, or an exact date if you know it.
4. Save.

Good to know

• This does not turn the photo into a Memory. A photo can stay an ordinary Album photo.
• The date you uploaded the photo is not when it happened.
• If you set a year or date yourself, Kireli uses that. It comes before the year of an Event or Trip the photo belongs to.
• If you did not set a year, Kireli may use the year of a linked Event or Trip when there is one.
• A year on a photo helps Games such as Guess the year, Timeline and Quiz. The photo does not need to be a Memory for that.
